time for a parade!

It's Parade Day in Charleston! Would you like to come along with us? I hope so--we would love the company!

Okay, let's head out...

Let's go to the big parade!!!
"hurry, hurry!"

"let's go, let's go!!"

LOVE to listen to these! Sometimes we'll hear them practicing on the city streets, sometimes at wedding receptions, always at parades!

fluffy red skirt, sparkling green sequins, big glamourous earrings.....and a big pretty smile!

loads of happy people lined up and sitting in lawn chairs and  on curbs and piazzas to watch the annual Christmas parade

awwwww---sweet doggies!

I love to see the expressions on the children's faces at the parade

Signs of Autumn..........................

.............................are now giving way to signs of Christmas!

a beautiful time-worn old house

bananas are ready! We already harvested ours, ours did great this year too!

a few cannas still blooming

Late afternoon Sunbeams dance on the old mansion:

Been wrapping presents for Fairy Granddaughter!

these books look fun!
The map at the front of the book series---so fun, so many neat things to see!

Really cute stories and really cute illustrations

and these tiny little Polly Pocket dolls are so cute!
and here's a sparkly purple blouse with a big satin bow on the front, I think she may like that!

a blue haired mermaid, and a few little friends for her:

this looks like a fun sticker book:

this looks fun....an empty school locker and lots of fun stuff to load the shelves up with!
other scenes too, like this pool one:
and combs, brushes, mirror and bows and barrettes for her dolls:
taking a break from wrapping for now.........will be back at it again tomorrow, and THAT SHOULD finish it up, YAY!! we completed our Christmas breakfast and supper menu shopping last night and the Christmas cards have all been signed, decorated and sent, FINALLY. LOL!
Hope your week is going great so far.
I am looking forward to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We finished up our grocery shopping for the Christmas meals last night too! I'm baking today and tomorrow night we will have a Christmas Eve buffet! Merry Christmas to you! xoxo
