Little Lost Lanes

While out on our evening walk one night this spring, we came across this little lane that we had previously never been on nor noticed. It had so many charming and interesting things to see!
Look at this old abandoned house with it's little Juliet balcony!
I love stumbling onto unique and forgotten sights such as this!
Across from the old house the owners of this one have renovated and restored and theirs looks like this:

What a unique and amazing little alleyway!

Always something interesting to see in Charleston!

Meet you on Meeting Street!

Our walk last night took us up and down Meeting Street, one of my favorites, where our views looked like this:

It was very hot, humid, and balmy! But we still love to walk.

What is blooming your way? And where do you like to walk?

Charleston Fences and Gates

(above, inside an ancient old cemetery in Charleston, SC)

(above, I think this greenery topped brick gate was somewhere around Church Street, downtown)

the pastel fence and gate below are in the Old Village area of Mount Pleasant, SC. There are alot of tiny little cottages over there with sweet little gates, gardens, and picket fences.

I'm joining Tex for "Good Fences" party. This is  my first time!

Now Im off to look at other fences that y'all have posted! They are some of my most favorite things to photograph!

Lively and Bright

Spotted this downtown scene recently:

What do you think it is?

YES! It is someone's front yard!

Just another reason I love Charleston so much! You never know what you're going to see next!
