a Lowcountry Labor Day

Hope y'all had a nice holiday weekend.

Pretty September clouds

LOTS of breezes coming in!

People taking to the city streets....walking, visiting, exploring our city.

Lovely young ladies out for a night on the town:

Bicycles and horses fill the Autumn streets

Street musicians play music.......vendors hawk booze-soaked popsicles, and crowds gather at restaurants and night spots. There are long lines everywhere--to get into a loud nightclub to dance, or to buy an ice cream cone.

We haven't seen this many people here in A LONG TIME......

and the big moon was so pretty!

"mystery" peppers. Anyone know what these are? We planted red peppers, bell peppers, this is what we got, LOL! Are these a type of chili pepper? Hot peppers? Mild? Sweet? Burn your mouth off?Anyone know? Did we pick them early, are they supposed to turn red??

This is what we planted!  Pictures Above--is what grew! LOL

Hope everyone's week has gone nicely. I've gotten way behind and will be by to visit with y'all later this evening, and to comment!

  1. They look like banana peppers to me. Mine are a lighter shade of green and very mild.
Lots of people! Few masks. Stay safe.
When will all this be over and like be more normal?

  2. Wow, looks like life is returning to Charleston! Praying there won't be a new outbreak of the virus and that we can begin to feel safe again. Maybe those are "snapdragon peppers"...You said that was what you planted. LOL. I would taste test them very carefully to see if they are hot. Pretty interesting! Let us know what they are! Have a happy weekend.

  4. ~smile~ You are blurring or cutting off the view, of faces without masks! Right? ~smile~

Wondering, how are your sick-with-Wuhan-Virus-stats, down there? Do the stats reflect, how people do not listen to Advice?

Then again, stats can reflect the bias of those, who are putting them out.

    Can't win! LOL

  5. Debbi, That is a lot of activity on the streets. Can't believe people are clubbing...yikes. It is fun to see the sights of your busy city. I will miss your summer walks. I already miss your sweet grandgirl walking around with you. Please stay safe . Blessings to you and your hubby. xoxo, Susie
