blue unicorn

a flash of bright blue up on the wall......

It's my tiny little blue unicorn!

This sweet little thing caught my eye at a recent thrift store visit.....and I couldn't resist giving it a home!

Debbi, Loved seeing your blue unicorn around town. It sure sticks out. Glad yo get out even wen it's chilly...it doesn't hurt to get out when it's cold. I love walking when it is, as long as my arms and neck never get cold. LOL. Blessings , xoxo, Susie

How pretty....the perfect shade of turquoise too! I haven't been shopping at thrift stores lately but I was thinking of taking a donation tomorrow....and looking around just a bit! What if there's a unicorn there! You just never know! heehee! Enjoy your week my friend. You gave me WAY too many compliments today! You must REALLY be my BEST friend! lol Hugs and hugs!

What a sweetie! Just dropping in for a moment to say that though times have been TRES busy and chaotic here for quite some time, we DID retrieve some of our ability to post and comment again. And between errands and needs and snowstorms and the ills that flesh is heir to, etc., I get wonderful rest and serenity from just paging through all your adventures and travels and strolls. moire non when time allows, and remember I'm always so glad to hear from you!!

so cute!! can you believe...i don't think we left the house this past weekend! it was ok, it was cold and there wasn't anything fun going on!!

i wondered if you took the unicorn or left it for someone to find!!

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
