St. Patrick's Day time

Charleston's streets were filled with people Saturday night:
I saw zero "social distancing".

It was the same this evening as Carnival's cruise ship "Sunshine" dropped off over 2440 passengers into our city.

All restaurants, shops and bars are open for business. I think one bakery closed.

Have a lovely day, y'all. Stay safe and healthy!

  1. Here we are social distancing big time. I'm in self-isolation, Rick more or less too. We'll go for walks or he'll ride but not people. Streets are all but bare and everyone is giving everyone else a big berth. Happy St. Patrick's Day and stay well!

  2. Oh no! Things are really starting to shut down here...bars didn't want to miss out on that st patties money over the weekend so they stayed open but I think that's about to change...we can't be in areas with more than 10 people now 🙁

  3. Too sad that they are not doing their part to stop the spread of the virus. Many places are closed here and it is very quiet on the streets. Stay safe and Happy St. Patrick's Day.

  4. Things may have changed since you wrote this post....I hope people are taking the situation more seriously...I HOPE!!! It's pretty quiet around here. We went to one of our favorite hiking trails today and saw 2 people, with their 2 dogs! I think more people should get out on the trails to stay healthy, but that's my grand idea! lol Take care my friend! Stay healthy and happy! Hugs!
