Hello, Fall

 Fall has arrived!

This time of year our ladies get a special treat!

They're all gathered up and waiting
They sure love watermelons and pumpkins

I'm happy for Fall's arrival but our temperatures all last week were up to 91, still HOT. Very THANKFUL the recent hurricane missed us.
A look back at summer:

"tater" time!

Happy for fresh green beans and taters time

Country Living magazine
saw this page in a recent Country Living magazine.........went to take a picture of my own cow creamers, they are on a shelf in the kitchen

Love that magazine.....do you ever read it?

It was time for the first beans and taters, I cooked them in the crock pot all day.

This is probably one of our last four 'o clocks blooming:

But we still have lots of wildflowers! Including these wild morning glories

Hope your October has started safely and happily!
so glad you stopped in to see me.

  1. Love your little cow creamer pitchers! They are so cute, and perfect for your farmhouse kitchen! I love all the flowers and the pumpkin for the "ladies". I love most of all seeing the happy picture of you with your taters and beans! They sure look good and nice and fresh! I bet they really tasted good too! Happy October to you and yours!! We did get a little bit of rain, and the temps are a bit cooler this week so far, so that's a win win!! Bye for now!!

  2. Still warm here too, and wow the humidity! I will be happy to wave it goodbye. I have that same teal cow creamer -- and you may even have it up there in white -- that is from Pioneer Woman! I have another, smaller cow creamer and LOTS of cow critter standabouts! I love cows. Happy October! xoxo

  3. fall is here also...in all its glory. your pictures are so pretty and i loved "tater time"!! i think we are both huge fans of potatoes and they look great. redskins and yukon golds are my favorites!! it has been really hot here too, it doesn't feel like fall as we visit all the fall festivals but we are still having a lot of fun!! i have seen a couple of cooking shows that featured a crockpot meal they called "swamp potatoes"!! in addition to potatoes and green beans, they added onion and sausage to theirs but i think you could add almost anything!! i am still seeing morning glories too...the ones i saw were a deep purple!! it is 64 degrees today...we are getting ready to go for a drive!! i'm so happy i got to visit you before i left!!
