Late summer walk about

It's a beautiful day and the birds are calling us out......to take a walk!

It's been slightly cooler, down in the 80s, which is a nice break from sweltering summer.

This little guy was singing loudly

as was this brilliant cardinal

I paint old bottles and make stick ornaments for the gardens, like the popular bottle trees, only not trees. Bottles on sticks....LOL

I love that quote above because every bloom and all the butterflies are so amazing to me.

our cannas are almost neck high now, and bloomed pretty well this sumer.

Spied my first splashes of Goldenrod in the country ditches. At least I think this is Goldenrod?

These are wildflowers in our fields. They started last Fall. This year we have DOZENS more! I think the leaves are such a pretty shape

And they have pretty little yellow blooms on them

I hope everybody's September has started out great!
