It's a beautiful day and the birds are calling us out......to take a walk!
It's been slightly cooler, down in the 80s, which is a nice break from sweltering summer.
I paint old bottles and make stick ornaments for the gardens, like the popular bottle trees, only not trees. Bottles on sticks....LOL
great way to finish up half way empties of spray paint
"Sometimes, in summer, the world (our backyard) looks so glorious you expect animatronic Disney butterflies to appear..."
.....Jill Herzig
I love that quote above because every bloom and all the butterflies are so amazing to me.
a tangle of four o' clocks and a blue "gazing ball"
our cannas are almost neck high now, and bloomed pretty well this sumer. |
good "maters" hanging on the vines make me happy
Spied my first splashes of Goldenrod in the country ditches. At least I think this is Goldenrod?
These are wildflowers in our fields. They started last Fall. This year we have DOZENS more! I think the leaves are such a pretty shape
And they have pretty little yellow blooms on them
I hope everybody's September has started out great!
These are all so beautiful, and I love the painted bottles! What a great idea! They add so much color and interest to your yard/garden! And you look so pretty! Always happy to see your lovely face!!! September is getting off to a good start here...we are starting to get more rain, and the temps are going down a bit, so that is all good!! And you have Mockingbirds and Cardinals just like we do! I enjoyed your happy post. Hope all is well! All is good here. I start back to choir practice tonight! Yay! I love to sing! Talk to you later dear friend.
