"Well, Zoey-- at LEAST I had enough sense to NOT WEAR pink high heels to THE BEACH!!!

Yes, it was a beautiful day.....

This post is to celebrate the brand new baby girl orca calf that was recently born! Oh, she is adorable and is swimming with her Mother and the older females in the ocean near San Juan Island

Debbi, I am glad you and the dolls had a fun time. I liked the poses. LOL. That is interesting about a new whale. Ted's chemo ended up being a shot in the tummy instead of an IV drip. He liked that idea. Even though it takes 5 more new pills each day , preping . Blessings, xoxo, Susie

How amazing! I had not read about the baby Orca that was born! Love the girl with her feet in the sand....oh and her ankles too! They have such cute outfits and the pink high heels were cute cute cute! You are a born story teller my friend. This would be a cute children's book! Enjoy your day! Did you put sunscreen on those girls? Hhhhhmmmmm!!! I didn't think so! ROFL!!!

we were at the beach today debbi and the breeze was amazing. it was so cool and beautiful there!!

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
