Tammie and Gypsy, the Blog Dogs say "come along with us!"

It was a sunny, warm and beautiful day here today so after church we tried to spend as much of the day outside as possible.

Red berries galore!

Lots of people out making pictures

gorgeous horses all around the city

somebody decorated their alligator! LOL

I love it because it sparkles and catches the light!

beads today were pearls on plaid. And lots of DOG HAIR! LOL When I'm romping and wrestling with the girls I don't care about dog hair, I'm just having fun! They were so happy and frisky today out in the fresh air.

Lots of flowers in bloom to keep our winter days bright

not a clear picture, but these little red cyclamen flowers are bright and pretty for Christmas!

it's so nice to see everyone - and you - out and about, enjoying a walk. it's so cold here and we have snow on the ground. all of the christmas flowers and decor are beautiful!!

It sure is looking like Christmas in your neck of the woods--or city streets--lol. Everything there is just beautiful and so different from our snow packed northern holidays- xo Diana

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
