Y'all know how it feels when you get a new pair of walking shoes? LOL---they are all brand spanking new, clean and bright! Gotta go try them out!

guess this pair were pirates, LOL! They even have a treasure chest

Maybe this is where all the rambunctious skeletons we've seen around the city end up!?? ha ha LOL

Soon as I spotted this colorful Fall wreath, I wanted to be in a picture with it! LOL

the wreath was the color of my blouse. I bought this blouse back in the summer and put it back for Fall. I love the embroidery on the ruffly sleeves!

I could hardly tell if the figures on this porch were real people, or decorations! ha ha---they were decorations.

We saw something flickering up on the top piazza of this house........do you see it?

Yep, they put pumpkins way up there. I couldn't tell if they had battery candles or real candles in them.

Yay!!---it's shawl weather!!

We had a good walk and my new shoes held up great, very comfortable!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far and are y 'all expecting lots of trick or treaters in your neighborhood tomorrow evening? 
We are stocked up on candy, just in case!

It had been a hot October day.....so we saved our walk for the evening, after sundown.

One of my favorite doorways in the city!

---It's just always neat and swept clean, well tended, with pretty flowers growing all year long.

Lights glow in homes and folks are settling down for a quiet evening of t/v watching or reading a good book

a Week in October 4

October evenings are the BEST! for walking!

Beautiful moonlight sends bright beams.......and lights begin to glow warmly in windows.

Glimpses of sparkling chandeliers can be seen......

This one is a beauty!

I stop for a quick picture......

then I want to show y'all these pretty night blooms!

So brave..........so strong........growing right up through the sidewalk cracks. They found a way to flourish and to be beautiful.

Here's a welcoming porch with rocking chairs for us if we get tired!

Lots of bright displays to see

Oh I just love how a lamp looks outside glowing on a front porch! Looks so welcoming.....and so homey!

Our leaves on our banana trees were shredded by hurricane Dorian! You can see how the hurricane shredded the leaves to bits..........and now we have new leaves coming in and looking fine---quite the contrast! Mr. Front Porch just planted six of these late this summer, and we are hoping they make it!

Night flames are flickering........

........and a slight breeze is cooling things down. I'm putting my light jacket on.......

..............and we are going in!
