The Fair

Back in the Fall, we went to the Fair! I love going to the Fair each year!

Lots of bright and flashy things to make pictures of!

The lemonade was good!

I love merry-go-rounds! I ride them too!

The band was Hotel California and they were actually very good and did all Eagles songs.

They played all the old hits.

Enjoyed the concert very much!

Lots of neat things to buy!

Yes!!---it was good!! LOL

Granddaughter had her heart set on one of these little puppies. They wiggle around and also bark have blinkie lights in them So of course we got her one! LOL

up up and away!!

and people carrying strange things home.....LOL

By the end of the evening you are so tired and your feet might hurt from all the walking and you might've ate too much sugar...but it is so worth it and so fun to see all the sights at the Fair!

We enjoyed going to our fair also. It is a great place to see neighbors and old acquaintances.

we have several fairs, in different area...i look forward to all of them. the star fair is in july and it is always too hot for me!!

fairs are the best though and one thing for sure is you have to eat a funnel cake!!!

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
