Friday night we went to the night market. Always interesting things there, and the worst of the day's brutal heat is subsiding as a balmy night breeze picks up.
See the little girl in the white dress? She was acting out and doing all the cute little hand/dance motions to the old song "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round" as the performer sang. So cute!
Intricate local sweetgrass baskets:
I spotted these bright and colorful bottles and went in for a closer look!
Wouldn't those be beautiful in a windowsill at night?
And WHAT IS this scary creepy strange looking thing here?!
Wait....it's singing and DANCING!!?? to oldies music??
It's okay....it's just "Mr. Bonetangles", a regular Charleston performer. Don't see too many marionettes these days do we?
