summer thunderstorms

It's raining and we're going ANYWAY! LOL

I want to take y'all to see the pretty pink flowers!

so far--only a light sprinkle--nothing too bad!

Hope y'all will join us!

"yay!--we found the pink flowers!"

they tangle on this old black iron fence every year and I love to see them

Today's "arm candy" LOL:

Here's some pretty stained glass on this window:

old brick buildings, breezy piazzas, and big old trees

Thunder-shine

It's been raining every single day for the past two weeks I think. We get a nice summer thunderstorm pretty much every afternoon. We had a big loud surprise storm  about 5 a.m. day before yesterday and yesterday we had "thunder-shine" most all afternoon---sun brightly shining and LOUD thunder rolling--finally giving way to rain.

Our gardens are loving the rain.

it's WET MISTY  HOT AND MUGGY HERE. How about where you live?

  1. LOVE the pictures, especially with Tracie and AMybelle along for the walk in the rain! We haven't been getting enough rain lately...but it is VERY HOT and muggy. I just stepped outside for a minute, at 7 a.m., and it is already about 80 degrees and very muggy. So thankful for AC!!! Have a beautiful day today.

  2. What a lovely walk in the summer rain. Your pictures are so pretty and we could use your rain right about now, we are in the mist of fire season with air quality being in the unhealthy to extremely unhealthy range. It's like breathing an ashtray, yuck! your pictures look so refreshing and vibrant.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
