Holiday Shopping

That day---It was the worst weather day of the year so far.....freezing cold and pouring rain,WINDY,  plum NASTY OUTSIDE. But I really wanted to get out! Battling melancholy-this is my first Christmas without my Mom-I miss her alot, and needed something to brighten my spirits.
This is my first time at this store. I didn't even know it was here. It's called "At Home".

Let's go shopping!! Look at my new little friend!

Isn't she so precious!!?
Let's go see what they have!
I will try to best to display the prices too, so you can see, in case you want to find this store in your area.
all kinds of pillows and ornaments!

tall trees, angels and snowmen for yards

I think this is the teal and blue section!

Love the little fancy chairs!

Lots of trees! Flocked ones....... (who remembers that nasty stinky old flocking that came in a green can? Anyone else's Mom or Grandma spray their tree with it!? LOL)
blue ones and white ones....even pink!

and yes, even a rainbow tree!

Icicles and reindeer!
Whats next, little friend?---what else is pretty to see?
she says "turn left.....to see the pretty gold and white things"

Cheerful little Gingerbread men and ladies!!

tall thin "slabs" of gingerbread....these would look so good lined up on a shelf or bookcase or windowsill maybe? (they looked so real!)

I love these soft furry white deer!

holiday soap dispensers
......and look at this sweet little soft white angel.......yes, she came home with me! She is velvety and feathery and sparkly. She was the last one on the shelf. So I know everybody else loved them too! LOL
So..........what all did I bring home with us? Well, the prettty little white unicorn with wings, of course! And the red and green print rug below:
(yep, dog hair down there already on it! ha ha LOL!)

the little teal tinsel tree:
......and various other odds and ends!
Happy Monday to y'all and hope your week has started out great!

  4. We have one of these on the way to the kids' house. Blows me away! Be gentle with yourself this Christmas. Grieving and the holidays aren't the happiest partners, though sometimes some very sweet memories emerge. Just take care of you.
