Blue Day

It was a blue day! Blue sky......

Blue blazer!

A great day for a walk!

Blue flowers. Blue ring.

I gazed up at these for a long while.....I thought they were so pretty!

goodness gracious, these are back in style?---we carried these in high school, all us "hippie chicks" LOL. Quick---where's my mood ring and my bell bottoms and my Earth shoes? ha ha

got a fun new purse!

Love seeing all these pretty flowers in bloom!

BLUE SCARF TOO!! ha ha ha LOL

Won't be needing jackets or scarves now.....the summer heat is quickly approaching! How about in your neck of the woods?

It is beautiful and blue here also. It sure does lift my spirits after all the rain we have had this spring.

The fringe is fun and brings back memories of a jacket I once owned.

Debbi, I could look at the picture of the bikers all day...it seems so peaceful. Like the days when my own daughters could ride down the street to the library and be safe . Oh my how I love your walks you share with us:) But the house!!! It is amazing and you didn't say a word about it. Love the kids on their bikes and you can never go wrong with roses.

That's a mighty pretty blue sparkly ring you have on...you always dress so nice for your walks. I wear old junky outfits! lol But I do have a new handbag with fringe too. We still love some of the same things from our youth. Enjoy your weekend! I hope we can get out for an early morning walk tomorrow...we'll see! Hugs, Diane

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
