Crepe Myrtles
Tall and reaching for the sky!
Love their big hot pink blooms
There won't be too many left blooming as summer winds down and September approaches
Happy Sunday and those in the path of Hurricane Harvey as he went through, please let us know when you are able that y'all are doing ok and are safe--you're in our thoughts and prayers! Thank you
Debbi, I do adore these--I spell them crape myrtles, which is right?? Whichever way, I do love them.
There is an old huge pink one on our boundary and the neighbor and RH have decided that it sits on both the properties so we share it's glory, and he already has 3 more in his yard!
We planted 2 large clumps of white Natchez ones this spring.
I hope our dear friends in Texas come through this week in safety.

What pretty colors! They grow well here in Florida too! Thanks for writing me today...I got busy and posted! lol Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so fabulous! I wonder if they would grow in my territory or if the winter would be too hard on them. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful tree, the color of the blooms is so pretty.
