Spent the day at Folly Beach basking in the warm sunshine and lively breezes!
Lots of happy dogs out enjoying the surf and the sun today:
look what washed in...LOL
Sunny primroses
bright little bursts of sunshine in the sand!
I know this picture turned out blurry....but loved the colors!
Sunset:
(I know...blurry photos, LOL)
Love the tropical flowers on this home's gate!
the trilliums are neat decorations on that fence. sand, shore, palms, sun. thanks for a good dose and some good fences, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the first pic of the pelicans!!! Awesome. And love the trilliums, too...and love the pelican on the post where you have the sign pointing to the beach. And if the color is true on my computer and in your photo, I love that color of green of the building and fence in the background!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good place to chill out. Lovely beach, even a mermaid on it!! Great fences and loved the Pelican's in flight.
ReplyDeleteWonderful beach photographs! What a place to just hang out, be still my heart! Thanks for dropping in to see me!

The ocean in the distance is the perfect backdrop for the primrose.
ReplyDeleteI could get use to living there. I love the ocean. What fun you all had. That little mermaid was cute and that fence with the tropical flowers was pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbi, I just wrote a comment and I forgot to select a profile so it didn't post. Trying again.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comment about our anniversary. We had a huge party for our 50th so going out to dinner together was very enjoyable.
Your day at the beach looks so relaxing and fun. I loved all of your photos, especially the pups and the mermaid find. LOL. We grew up on the beaches in Fl., so now we love the lovely mountains and view we have every day. Our beaches did not have the rocks and pretty ocean views like the one you shared.
Have a lovely week Debbi.

Jeanne

What a lovely beach day!
ReplyDeleteHI Debbi! Oh, what a great post! Lovely snaps and that is a cute little mermaid and mermaid catcher! This makes me miss Galveston Island just a little bit! :) Even up here in the cold, we see sea gulls and pelicans! :) I just adore watching the pelicans. Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Great photos of the resort area! Love the fences with the primroses! Wonderful! And that last fence was so different and interesting! Cute shots with the Little Mermaid, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a splendid visit to all your adventures, of all kinds, in a place I've never been. My only visit to the "low-country" was of a trip back across that immense long bridge-way from Chesapeake on our way home to Indiana, and I still think of the long vistas of sun-glint on the water, then more land, then the diamond-surface once again, stretching out so far, so far.
ReplyDeleteI so love your porch---I'm in a definite PASTEL phase right now, renovating the downstairs kitchen in pink and white, and as soon as we get the Winter's detritus and leaves cleared from the patio, our plastic Adirondacks-to-match-your-regal-rockers will go out for the Summer.
Looking forward to returning for more of your lovely adventures!

Hi sweet friend..
ReplyDeleteThe little girl standing looking out at the ocean with her little mermaid doll in her hand..was..exquisite! Should be framed in a sea shell frame and hung. I loved it!
What a beautiful beach! I wish more beaches were dog friendly! So funny to see the mermaid:)
ReplyDeleteWell, there you have it! Mermaids do exist. :)

Sunny and warm, wavy wonder, and pretty blooms, dotting the landscape - sigh - lovely!
