a pleasant day for Mount Pleasant

Up and over!!! Headed over the big bridge today

Got some pictures of the "stuck ship". (Carnival Sunshine) It was quarantined and stuck here with a FULL CREW for many weeks.

I felt so sorry for the crew aboard. They would be stuck in our Charleston ports like this.........then change port for a change of scenery........then go "out to sea" for a few hours or so.......then back. They couldn't get off the ship.

I think it's just over 2 miles to walk the bridge. I haven't walked it yet. You can see the ocean in the distance.

Time to head back over the bridge.........the sunset is so pretty

I read my new friend Pam's blog today and she had some interesting things about the real Aunt Jemima and how she got the job and how she loved it and how it benefitted her family. She was PAID WELL, she got to travel all over, met many interesting people, and worked a job and left a legacy to be proud of.
so.....should we erase her?
