into the garden

"I believe that, much like books, gardens are organic, unpredictable things, revealing their beauty how and when they choose. It is up to us to remember to pause and enjoy that beauty every day. "
......Julia Kelly, The Last Garden in England

I just finished that book and it was so good!

Strolling the garden today. LOL. Isn't that such a nice old fashioned word----"strolling".
The temps have DROPPED TO THE EIGHTIES here today in the Lowcountry!!------we're freezing!! LOL ha ha just kidding

so it's a good day to go out to the garden

Because they give us these!:

fluffs of rainbow four 'o clocks:
My Old Maids have finally burst into bloom!
I've been picking big bouquets of them every few days. The more you pick, the more they bloom!

sunflower season!

We've had lots of rain lately.....so lots of these sprouting up:

and goodies fresh picked from the garden:

And onions!

Oh, how I LOVE ONIONS!

On lucky days.......we find good things:

I hope everyone is having a peaceful happy and safe weekend. So glad you stopped in to see me!

  1. Oh, what a lovely stroll through the garden with you! That was delightful!! You have much to look at and so much to be thankful for! I love seeing your flowers and all those beautiful vegies!! I wish I were a real gardener and could do that! I just don't have the stamina or strength, but maybe if I tried it would help. Oh well...I can dream! LOL. Thank you for this treat today. I enjoyed every moment of it. Those vegies looks so good, because they are so nice and fresh! Wow. That would be so nice. (((hugs))) to you both today.
