Let's go to the Movies!

We took our daughter and little granddaughter to the movies this past week. We hadn't been in a long while and enjoyed it so much! We took her to see the new Peter Rabbit movie. It was hilarious and adorable! The talking rabbits look so real.

I was excited to see they had an Icee machine, I do love my icees! My favorite is the Coke one! In some places they are called "Slush Puppies" too. Almost the same drink I think.

Movie "fashion"--loose and comfortable denim dress- CHECK. Plain long sleeve black t-shirt to keep my arms warm-CHECK. Soft black leggings to keep my legs warm-CHECK. Comfortable walking shoes- CHECK.

Granddaughter "fashion"--- happy colors and a dress that "spins"! LOL

Seats at the movies certainly have changed! These are full fledged soft comfy recliners. They recline all the way. We all put our feet up and relaxed!

I loved the happy music by Abba, the beautiful scenery in Greece, Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried! I love goofy, happy, song filled musicals

Debbi, You know I love that spinning skirt....what a little cutie pie. I like your comfort attire also. I would pack that purse with my own treats...geezoo, those prices for snacks !! I love to smell the popcorn . I have not been to the movie house for years now. My daughter and I would go when she had break from school. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

What fun! I love a good movie! Alas, my movie buddy Ruth Ann is spending most of her time st their farm now that her husband has retired. I’m s our far behind in the ones I’ve wanted to see that I’ve given up! Remember when they would should a not too old movie on TV? Usually on a Sunday night.....I miss those days!

Hubby took the girls to see that movie and they all loved it. Hubby goes often- I seldom go. Love that you could go with family. Hope you have a great night- xo Diana

I do want to see this sweet little movie...
Daughter, 2 grandgirls and I went to see a showing of GONE WITH THE WIND at our local amazing Alamo Movies where we ate pizza, milk shakes, popcorn and had the BEST tine.

this reminds me of our recent trip to the movies, to see forever my girl. that was very good.
beauty and the beast was my more recent favorite!!!

things sure have changed and gotten better!!

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
