Macy's Parade 2015

I look forward to this big parade ALL YEAR! I just love it! Anyone else?

Bright colors, music, dancing, amazing floats, marching, singing, and happy people.

our hosts:

Peppy "All American"cheerleading squad members 2015

a really big group of lively and spirited young ladies from high schools and colleges all over America
My favorite part of the parade are the BANDS AND MAJORETTES twirling their batons!

Believe me, those parents and families are PROUD. The work and practice involved in getting there is astounding. These kids work so hard at their routines, and then there is the fund-raising to get themselves there. It takes alot to get a whole band, sponsors, parents and chaperones, directors, equipment and musical instruments and uniforms on a trip of that magnitude. Most of them are from small towns. Many of these kids have never been out of their state and quite a few had never been on an airplane! So this is just the biggest trip of their high school or college  career and the highlight of being in Band. (can you tell I'm a former Band/fire twirling Majorette parent? LOL)

"Catch!!" (mercy don't drop on National tv!) lol

My other favorite event.....the lovely Radio City Music Hall Rockettes!

Aren't they just adorable?
is it just me.....or do these young ladies look younger and younger every year??! LOL oh yeah.....its because I'M OLDER and older! ha!

They work so hard and of course, NOBODY can out-do their famous kick-line!

and of course, at the very end....here comes Santa Claus!
Every year I say "this year's parade was the BEST!" I said it this year too.

  1. I also enjoy this parade, although I'm usually cooking like crazy so I miss a lot. This year as Santa rode in I proclaimed, "Look, there's Santa. So now it's Christmas!" There was a loud clapping, cheering session from family!

  3. It is always a great parade. This year I only got glimpses of it as I was cooking at my daughter’s house, in Brentwood, TN – near Nashville. It is such a fun parade to watch. Thank you for coming to my blog.

  4. A few years ago we were there, 2 or 3 and I did blog about it. The parade was awesome, there is nothing in the world greater than being there, it was the best day ever. Afterward we went to the show at radio city music center and saw the rockettes, another beautiful experience!!

  5. I've missed this year parade. I just forgot to watch it. Well I'm just quite too busy to look parades. But we had cool Thanksgiving lunch at our http://www.essay-writer.club/ office and it was really nice to spent time in a pleasant company of your colleagues.

  6. Oh, how we love parades too and watch every year. Since we've moved to upstate New York, we want to go to The City one year and see the parade in person. Wouldn't that be fun? Thanks for popping in to see me.
    Be a sweetie,

  7. Oh, I forgot I didn't answer your question. The deer are sorta heavy so they won't knock over. I think they're made of some sort of resin.
    Continue being sweet,
    Shelia ;)
