After church, time for a walk in the garden

next to my favorite pecan tree |
fancies fluttering all over:
my Old Maids are blooming
and in the kitchen:more glossy peppers!---they smell so good!
and a loaf of homemade bread from a friend, we finished it last night, it was so delicious! I do make homemade herb butter, but this batch is just store-bought. It was still good!
Hope your Sunday was peaceful and that you are staying cool. It's SO HOT HERE.
Oh, that bread and herb butter sure looks good. Do you have a recipe for it? Your "old maids" are really nice and full and colorful! I think mine are a bit straggly and small, but it's been SO hot and I have to keep watering them I love your pretty blue and white dress. YOu look so feminine and sweet! Oh, and the butterflies on the Zinnias are wonderful. That's a Gulf Fritillary, I think! They blend right in with the flowers. I love the little fairy in the garden, and your green bell peppers are gorgeous!!! The best kind, fresh from the garden!! I enjoyed your post today so much. Almost like being there with you!!
ReplyDeleteWe are having a mild summer so far in Texas! That means it's not a hundred degrees day after day after day! Still HOT but not AS hot as it usually is!
ReplyDeleteYou look like an angel with your pretty coloring and that beautiful blue dress.
Love you, my dear friend!
