Let's VOTE!!

 Happy Election Day, U.S.A.!!

I was so excited to vote for President this year!

This picture makes me laugh because the way the sunlight was, it looks like I have pink or orange in my hair. LOL (I don't)

I bought this fun shawl with fringe last Fall, never got around to wearing it much, so THIS FALL, I hope to do so! LOL If it would just COOL DOWN!!
I've been collecting tiny things the past year, it's fun!:

tiny yogurt, ice cream, and a tiny milk carton, pitcher, and glasses.
That's a quarter to compare the size

tiny tea mugs with tea bags

even a tiny crock pot and ice-box!

thats not dirt or dust you see on this old old kitchen fireplace mantel......it's tiny paint splatters someone did, probably a long time ago...
we may paint over it someday, or maybe not, LOL.

lemonades with lemons and even straws

I love collecting these tiny things!
Please tell me what y'all collect?

Hope everyone got out to VOTE!!

  2. Oh, Debbie, you sweetheart!! What a lovely comment on LAWN TEA to wake to this morning! You know I love your messages and all the goings-on up there in beautiful Charleston---my images of that enchanted place are of another time, with carriages and dressing for dinner, sweet little gatherings for the first strawberries, a new baby, the first child off to college, with toasts of syllabub and toast POINTS at well-set tables.

And somehow, everything you photograph and share seems to carry on that misty hue of the past, with a glint of age and an antiquity to the lawns and iron gates, garden scenes and tabletops---You think I write---I KNOW you capture your home and city like nobody else, and your sense of the wee and the fey, the doll company you keep on your adventures, those tee-ninecy refrigerator items that could feed the multitudes---whoa---this sentence has to stop somewhere.

All wrapped up in that walkaway picture of golden garb and hair---you and Monique--Nana at her table---you two have the "headed for a wonderful adventure" down pat. I love that you're my friend.
