We decided to walk over to the Crab House for supper the other night.
On the way we discovered this lovely courtyard that we had never seen before. A pretty little oasis in the city.
Babbling water, glimmering fish, and pretty flowers! Here comes a just married couple!
....and off they go, into their future.
Here we are at our destination!
I love the big mural!
They have amazing fried green "Maters" here! (goat cheese on top) love love love....
Afterwards we walked Unity Alley. We had never walked this alley yet.
We found one of the free libraries on the street so of course we looked in....I always check these out, do you?
Many people are decorated for October 31st.
By now we were well fed and tuckered out. Time to head home.
Hello Debbi! First, I love your skirt! Secondly, Charleston looks like such a fun place to live. There's always something going on. Boy does that fish ever look wonderful! If I could I'd eat fried fish for every meal.

Hi Debbi! Oh, I just love all of your pretty snaps. How cute the bridal couple is and the buildings and you! You look adorable and I'm like Jane - I love your pretty skirt.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thank you for every bit of this---especially for the tiny lending library---is it still "lending" if you expect people to help themselves, and perhaps put another volume in instead of the one they chose?
ReplyDeleteThe whole walk was wonderful---restful and peaceful, right here at bedtime.
Night-Night.

I think I ate here when I was in Charleston a number of years ago and it was so good! Love your fun walk (and everyone else is right -- the skirt rocks!)
