Last night's big BRIGHT CLEAR Hunter moon:
I think it "officially" rose about midnight last night?
Deer hunting season will go on until January, and of course, turkey season is well over.
A Taking a walk about, hope you'll join me? Pretty day, no umbrellas, coats, hats, etc. needed today.
The very last crepe myrtle blooms of summer. They've NEVER hung on this late in the Fall before!

this gorgeous creature visits me pretty much every day, looking in the window. It always looks like the same bird, and it sits in the exact same place
Our Old Maids are still blooming:
Late in the summer, they always get that ugly purple fungus on the leaves. I combat it with a spray I make, but when it gets sweltering hot here in the late summer, it's just too hot to do much of anything out there! LOL, and I have to just let them go.
Enjoyed my last issue of Southern Lady magazine:
Pretty pictures from this issue:
I say my "last issue" because they have TOTALLY re-done this long time magazine since the original creator's Phyllis Hoffman's passing. I've been a reader and faithful subscriber since 1999.
I just got my annual renewal notice in the mailbox and it's like $80.00 a year now! That is ridiculous and I'm not renewing it. Sadly, good bye, Southern Lady.
This was a country drive we took back in the early summer
Newly planted fields:
Blooms all over:
Delicate curtains of Spanish moss swaying in the hot wind:
Pretty much the last of the big magnolia blooms from this summer:
Love seeing old windows, old deserted buildings, and vines tumbling down...
And if we're lucky, we'll see one of these old old Coke signs painted on the the side of an old building!
