Debbi, A big article in our paper about why the leaves are not changing to the pretty colors. This is normally our peak fall foliage week. The draught of summer and the hot start to fall has the chlorophyll still flowing in the leaves. So the actually leaf changes are delayed. I just hope the leaves do not fall before changing and that no snow falls till we officially have a fall season. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
You chose a very nice poem for the season. Our trees are just beginning to turn and the days have been shortened. I like the coolness of fall and all its beauty, but autumn is all too short.
