Do you have a favorite statue and if so--where is it?
Enjoyed seeing your collection of statue photos this morning. So diverse, so interesting. No, I've never thought if I have a favorite statue. Now, that gives me a new project! Finding my fav.
ReplyDeletei always feel uncomfortable around "penis" status, especially with water shooting out!! with that said, i do love yard statues. i have one of a cute couple together, the man with a baseball cap of course. here my favorite was the mermaid, i really liked that one!!!
ReplyDeleteps...i'm not a prud, i hope not anyway!!!
Oh Debbi, I absolutely love statues! Especially cherub or putti statues! The photo of the backs of all those boy statues cracked me up, it's like attack of the statues! A horror movie of some sort! lol
ReplyDeleteI can't think right now where my favorite statue it.
Hi, you stopped by my blog the other day and I thought I would pay you a visit too. Thank you! I'm just getting back into blogging, so still working out the kinks of it all. I enjoyed all of the statues. We have a couple in our yard, although they are in less then perfect condition. We enjoy yard art and I hope those who pass our home do as well. Again, Thank you for your visit, hope you get a chance to stop by again! Have a delightful day!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos of such interesting statues. When we go on one of our walks we visit a cemetery. Sitting on the lawn is a very old statue of an angel. It doesn't appear to be near a grave, just sitting in the lawn. It is quite worn as this cemetery has been around since the 1860's but it is still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
I'm such a sucker for statues, especially those in gardens. These are all so very lovely!
