4th of July on the porch

Recent thrift store finds:
(the plate in the middle)
big HEAVY glass serving bowl:

It was perfect for serving up the "tater salad" on the 4th!

Books!

I love the illustrations in the fairy book (aren't they fun?!) and I'm looking forward to reading it to our granddaughter!

We had a great holiday and I'll be around to visit all your blogs to see how everyone celebrated sometime today.

Mermaid water:
(its really coconut/lime blue punch....but shhhhh....we call it "mermaid water" for the grandgirl! LOL)

We spent part of our 4th in Charleston. It is such a wonderful and interesting city.

  4. It looks like you had a fun celebration and lots of goodies to eat. I sure love your new treasures and I keep going back to look at the fairy book. How sweet the fairies are....and how scary that big black bird is! Have a fun week my friend. Sweet hugs, Diane

  5. Hi Debbi,

I love the blue and white plates...there is always something so fresh about blue and white. The fairy book looks delightful. Looks like you had a grand celebration.

Thanks for asking about me....that was so thoughtful. I am doing better...much less sore with each day that passes. :-)
