Today ends my "ONE WEEK IN OCTOBER" posts.
This is a lovely little small church outside the city. I found lots of Spanish moss gently blowing in the breeze.

and a peaceful churchyard

  1. You and my mom would get along great - she loves going for a wander around old churchyards and looking at all the headstones!! Perfect post for Halloween season, Debbi!

  2. Hi Debbi, thank you for visiting my blog Living Life On Main Street. You were so sweet to leave a comment. I, of course, had to hop over here to see what you were up to and I just up and joined your followers. I lived briefly (my husband was on a ship there) back in the '50s and then we did a quick sightseeing trip with our daughter and granddaughter much later on. I'd love to come back but guess I will have to just visit your great town through your blog. Hugs, Latane

  3. I enjoy visiting old graveyards, especially the ones in Charleston and Savannah. I love the history that is written on the tombstones, that is if time and weather have not erased them.

  5. I love church yards and graveyards and cementaries! I always wish I could wander back in time and visit these people! Someday someone will wander over to MY grave and wonder who this Linda Chapman was......
