A Winter walk and supper at Hymans Seafood-Charleston

Here's hoping everybody had a great Thanksgiving and ate lots of good food!
We certainly did and have been enjoying the left-overs for the past several days...finally deciding yesterday we would go out to eat....something/anything that was not turkey! ha!
We went for our walk first....I wanted to get out and see what was blooming. I love to look at the flowers and of course make pictures of them...some turn out better than others. Y'all know how it goes.

I love the perky faces of the sunny pansies!

These people put a big bear into their window!
Lots of dogs out enjoying the 71 degree day!

Three tall " skinnies"

Does anyone know what the little white flowers to the left of the pansies are?

After our walk, we had surely worked up an appetite and were ready to go into the restaurant!

I enjoyed the tin ceiling, brick walls and the old spiral staircase.

The hush puppies were delicious and so was my fried catfish supper!

So many famous folks have visited, they've almost ran out of room to put their framed pictures up.

There's a little gift shop next door:
with all the typical souvenir item you can browse and buy.
The mermaid dolls were very cute!

Shelling at Blind Pass, Florida

A Look Back at Summer's Best 2015
We heard the shelling was very good at Blind Pass, so we spent an evening there 'shell-seeking'. What a beautiful spot! The sunset just starting was gorgeous!

The warm shallow water was perfect to wade in, walk in, sit in, and search for pretty shells! You could walk WAY OUT in the shallow water, but some of the currents were unbelievably STRONG, even in the shallow (about knee high) water, and could just about knock me down.

Kites fluttering in the Florida sky:

Afterwards we went for a drive and to see this little sea shell shop:

Isn't it so cute??

Clearwater Pier

Taking a look back at my favorite things this Summer

"Sunsets at Pier 60" occur every evening about two hours before sunset until about an hour after the sun sets and the pier welcomes many vendors with arts and crafts galore....jewelry artisans, candle makers, leather/metal/pottery goods and many others. Fun to look at all the selections. There are also street performers, music, dancing, etc.

Bright lights along the beach at night:
I like Clearwater Beach because it's such a big wide beach, so nice for walking, and the water is so nice and pretty and clear. The beach sand is SO WHITE and pretty.

An artist painted a mermaid on the dolphin I was standing next to

Lots of fun things to buy.......lots of things to catch your eye!

The little gift shop on the pier had fun souvenirs and the dolphin and turtle standing guard on the pier were painted so pretty.
A fun place to take a walk on a dark, hot, windy night in the summer.
