A very happy Sunday in May!

Where did I choose to spend Mother's Day? In my favorite garden!

Come in, come in!....to Mrs. Whaley's beautiful garden!

I've been telling her all about Mrs. Whaley and her special

garden.

took off my corsage after church, put on a comfortable old shirt, and off came the church shoes, and on went the comfortable sandals!

I have read these books over and over!

My seahorse pendant, pearls, my cameo, a camera charm, and my NEW HEART CHARM. My beloved Gypsy. Forever in my heart.

Debbi, I so enjoyed this post. Your beautiful granddaughter dancing in the garden..oh that squeezed my heart and made me see my own girls when they were that age. So much prettiness in that garden.I think I would love to have a nice quiet hour sitting in the shade writing letters or just listening to birds. Thank you for taking us along. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Oh my, I just loved this post, the only thing better is if I were to go with you:) Your favorite spot is beautiful but the pond with the red brick building behind it is also very pretty. Love how you have read the books to your granddaughter and her excitement to experience it. Just the best!

Tonight's Micromoon--we watched it rise over the Battery tonight, it was red and orange

Skywatchers in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will get a view of the full moon tonight (Sept. 13) at 11:32 p.m., 10:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m., respectively, while East Coasters will see the moon at its fullest at 12:32 a.m. on the 14th. Regardless of time zone, the moon will appear just a bit dimmer than usual (eerie!), because it will be at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. That means that the moon will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when it is at its closest point to Earth, which is known as perigee. (Livescience.com)

LETS END KILLER WHALE CAPTIVITY!!

Please research the captive killer orcas that the SEAWORLD franchise holds captive. It is animal cruelty at it's worst. Those killer whales need to be FREE, NOT HELD CAPTIVE BY us humans and forced to do 'tricks' for our amusement. (and to make SEAWORLD a lot of money. ) Please go watch BLACKFISH when y'all have time okay? also read "Killer at Seaworld". You will learn so much and I doubt if you ever pay entrance fees to enter SEAWORLD or any of it's affiliate parks again.........because you will learn what the money really goes for........PROFIT. Their profit...........the poor whales gain nothing. But life captivity. Sad lonely lives in bathtub size enclosures where they cant even interact with their own pods and offspring normally. Many of them are so sick and die very painful deaths.The 'breeding' program is a joke. They are not even allowed to procreate in a natural and normal manner. The whales that were caught in the wild were taken from their pods and their mothers in a very cruel and inhumane fashion---it is heartbreaking. It's awful sad. Please research and then let me know what you think, okay? Whales are magnificent creatures, I love them. I tell everybody it's okay to love them and to want to go see them......but please go to areas where you can view them in the wild either from the beaches or cliffs or from boats. Not from cement swimming pools where they are mis-treated, gawked at, and forced to 'perform'. God created them and intended for them to exist in the seas! They really need to remain free........................
