Truck Dogs

While out and about I spotted these pretty big happy friendly dogs....

.....waiting on their people to come back from the store...........

so I went up and made friends with them. Look at that one above......he's smiling isn't he?

They let me pet them ( I know...I know...we should never pet strange dogs!-----but sometimes I make an exception) and when I got up closer look what I saw-----another pretty one laying down in the truck bed!

Such nice pretty dogs and so happy to be out and about on a warm sunny day near the beach!
Their people were not in the store long and the dogs got lots of attention while they waited. People (like me) just couldn't resist talking to them and noticing them.

  3. They are so sweet that I couldn't have resisted them either. I'm glad their people didn't leave them there long though!

  4. Debbi, Goldens are the very best. There is something about them that makes you think you can just go right up and hug them, and usually, in my opinion, you are can. Seeing these beauties makes me miss my beautiful Buddy..Happy Weekend..Judy

  5. These are good pictures of these lovely dogs – golden make the best family pet. Unfortunately I just saw a golden on TV – he had been riding in the truck bed of a pickup truck. The driver had to brake suddenly when a child darted out of a house – the golden flew out of the truck and was badly injured (very expensive surgery.) Many states have laws against having loose pets in the back of truck beds, but I don’t think they do in the South. In Nevada for example, if you carry a dog unsecured in a truck bed, you can get a $1000 fine or 6 months in a county jail – they say it is for the safety of the animal or the public.

  8. They are beautiful dogs! I get nervous seeing dogs in the back of a moving truck too, but I guess their owners know what they are doing.

  9. Those dogs are beautiful and friendly! My daughter has two Golden Retrievers. Thank you for visiting my blog. I LOVE Charleston and almost feel like it is home. We lived in Summerville when I was young and used to visit the zoo in Charleston. We also spent two weeks every summer at Folly Beach. I want to sit here and read all your posts! I will be back!

Thanks for your visit to Marmelade Gypsy yesterday -- so very nice to meet you! I was looking down at your posts and enjoying the mermaids, too! We're headed to SC soon (Myrtle Beach) and I always look forward to getting down south! Happy week!

  11. Hi Debbi, SO nice to meet you. Hubby and I love Charleston ---and were there briefly last November. We stayed at Mt. Pleasant --and were headed from son's home in FL to our beach vacation (Ocean Isle Beach). Speaking of Ocean Isle Beach, we just returned from a visit there --and I blogged about it today...

Love your blog and signed up to follow you. However, I couldn't find a "Follow by Email" gadget on your blog. I always prefer to follow someone by getting their blog posts on my email IF possible. Please let me know if you ever put that gadget on your blog. thanks!!!!!

Nice to meet a new blog friend.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
