Hydrangea Time

We're pretty much at the end of hydrangea time again and my oh my aren't they pretty?! I've been snapping pictures of them all spring/summer!

Pink Hydrangea on Sullivan's Island

City Hydrangeas

Big fluffy puff-balls of soft blooms!
I love them in all colors but my favorites are the blue ones! I think they are called "nikko blue"?

One purple one in that sea of hot pink ones! She is bravely "being herself"! Good for her!

  3. Gorgeous hydrangeas, Debbi.... I love all of the colors... Beautiful... I know you will be sad to see them leave for the season. That's how we feel about our Roses---and Lilies ---and Day Lilies, etc. etc. etc.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  4. Beautiful colors. They don't like Florida's hot and humid weather. I have a tropical hydrangea, not a true hydrangea, and I hope it does well for me.

Thanks for sharing these beauties with us ~ FlowerLady

  5. These are the loveliest of plants, aren't they. I have eleven Hydrangea bushes and other than my three lace caps, none have produced flowers in the past few years. They are the older variety and bloom only on old wood and except for last year, we have had some bad winters that have had a negative affect on them. This year I bought another variety that grows on old and new wood and am keeping my fingers crossed that I will have blooms next summer.

  6. I think that purple bloom is really a deep shade of lavender...being herself! Hydrangeas are my favorite flower and I love your poses with these beauties! Enjoy your day sweet friend. Hugs, Diane

  9. They are so so so beautiful! Truly right up there with peonies as my favorite flower. I think the pink are my faves, but, like you, I love them all.

I hope you are having a lovely day,
