Do you have any flowers blooming yet?
These lilies were still blooming.........in December! Ive been waiting for them to start up again in late spring. They bloom off and on all summer. Mr. Front Porch spotted the first big blooms just this morning.
my fun chicken t shirt! LOL
time to go feed the ladies, please come along!
they are very excited over their treats today
"no, I'm NOT ODD LOOKING!!? LOL
above...... our guinea Katiedid's bowl. She loves peas, carrots, corn, watermelon and especially SCRAMBLED EGGS! Lol
Sadly, these are the last pictures of two of the Guineas.... A fox killed the two males. We miss them and their loud raucous calls, especially at sunset.
they put poinsettias in their hanging baskets and put a sparkly wreath on the front, it really glitters in the sunshine
I finally took their decorations down, and planted real flowers in the hanging baskets last week! The seeds are already sprouting.

I'm so glad I got pictures of them. We have one female left, Katiedid. Like katydid, but I spelled it Katiedid. LOL |

Chilly spring afternoons and evenings are great for reading. I've just finished two more Patti Callahan books:
Good Morning! Such beautiful photos...I am sorry about your guineas that the fox got. I know that was upsetting. But you have so many other beautiful "ladies" to take care of! They certainly do eat well, thanks to your love and kindness!! And I love your cute chicken t-shirt! Do you wear that to feed the chicks so they feel like you are one of them? LOL. I bet they love it! Your books all look interesting. I finally just got a pile of books from the library that had been on hold, so I am getting back into my reading muse. Today is Sunday, and I need to get a move on or I'll be late to Sunday School. But it was nice to start the day with a little visit with you! I hope your day goes well. Sending you (((hugs))).
ReplyDeleteLove catching up with you! Such great pics and I am in love with all your pretty critters! You look so cute taking the critter food out to them. They certainly are fed well!! I'm reading a Francine Rivers book right now. What would we do without books???
