Wisteria Time

Let's go find the Wisteria.........follow me!

There are a few patches of it around town, but this is my favorite one!

I love the appearance of the beautiful purple wisteria every spring. It came and went so QUICKLY this year. It appeared and then it faded away very quickly. I'm glad I was able to snap a few pictures of it while it was bright and beautiful. I made these pictures a couple of weeks ago.
Do you have it where you live?

  1. I love wisteria. When I was a child there was a patio and two concrete fishponds connected by a little pump run waterfall. Over the entire patio there was an arbor that my mom had planted wisteria to grow over the top of it. Oh, it was beautiful! My bedroom window was right there. That wisteria had a heavenly scent. At night it was so nice to be in my bed drifting off to sleep with the scent of wisteria, and the sound of the little waterfall in the ponds while the toads all trilled their spring serenade. When I think back over those memories,I can scarcely believe they were real.

I really enjoy the amazing adventures you take us on in each post. Thank you.

  4. No wisteria here, although I do have a sandpaper vine that will have to do down here in the sub tropical climate I live in. You look pretty in your lovely purple outfit standing under the wisteria. Have a lovely Easter weekend ~ FlowerLady

  5. I love wisteria and am waiting for my husband to build a spot so I can plant some. At a older home I had years ago, I had wisteria and when it would get hot, those seed pods would pop and hit the side of the house! The flowers are fragrant and I'm not allergic to them! So that's a good thing. Your photos are beautiful. Thanks. I really enjoyed your tour.

  8. Hey Charleston, Hope you all are staying healthy through this virus....George and I are both fine...

Wisteria has never been my favorite of the Spring bushes... The strong smell sorta gets to me!!!!!! BUT--it's pretty to look at in pictures.

Happy Easter....With Jesus, there's HOPE ---and hope is what we all need, not just during the hard times but during the good times also!!!

    Hugs,
    Betsy
