Rainbow Row

The last time we walked by, I looked up and noticed something I'd not seen before---

Closer.............Closer............

Isn't that a gorgeous blue/white ginger jar up there?

Not many crepe myrtles left.......a few brave blooms still going. Fall is here!

Happy Fall, Y'all!

  2. Happy Fall to you too! I really enjoy my armchair travel with you, Debbi. Fall in the south and in the city is so different than Fall in the country up North.

  9. Oh, Debbi!

What a fabulous scene---a whole box of crayolas spilled down the street in the most charming fashion! Do you not imagine the lives lived within those pastel palaces? How would it be to simply DWELL in a place of such WEIGHT, such import, and to know of all the admiring and covetous eyes enjoying the grandeur of the scene? I always wonder if they feel impelled by Providence to keep the insides as meticulous as the out, or if they simply relax and enjoy.

I just this minute got the mail, with a postcard from Sis on the Isle of Skye, and the flow and surge of colours up those mountains around the harbor is simply magnificent, especially with all the ripples of reflection. Absolutely marvelous.

And the Crape myrtles only add to the real estate rainbow---with my very own favorite: watermelon.
