Sharing my Lowcountry adventures, one day at a time!
I must be a big (really big) kid, because I would love to splash in that! That fountain is beautiful. You certainly live in a beautiful area. Hope you get some cooler weather!HugsJane
Oh, how wonderful...i just love the idea that the kids are allowed to play here...so many fountains in so many cities are off limits for play and that is sad. When i was a little girl living in Dallas, the city would clean out the fire hydrants every couple of weeks..they would flush them out and every kid for 3 blocks would be there, playing in the water....great memory that has lasted some 70 years ....
I remember doing the very same thing when we were kids in the city - and I brought my daughters to the sprinklers when they were little, also! What fun!!
I would love to be there! One of these days I'm going to talk my husband into us taking a trip to Charleston and Folly Beach. It is beautiful there!
I know this kid would still want to run through the fountain on hot days like this! How fun! The pineapple reminds me of Spongebob! lol
What a perfect way to beat the heat! It would make me wish I was a kid again! Sweet memories.........lovely photos xo Karen
One doesn't have to be a KID to enjoy that water!!!!!! BUT--in Charleston, in the summer, when it's 99 in the shade, I would definitely want to get VERY WET.....Hugs,Betsy
Who wouldn't want to jump in those beautiful fountains.
Makes me want to kick off my flip flops and run through it too! What fun photos! Enjoy your week...stay cool. Hugs, Diane
