Spring in Charleston

Looks like Spring has "sprung" here in the Holy City!
Went for a walk yesterday to see what was blooming and found lots of pretty posies to photograph, plenty of warm breezes, and plenty of fresh spring scents.
The sunny daffodils are raising their bright yellow little faces up to the sun.
the azaleas are blooming...
I love looking up at this tall window!

so many beautiful blooms they have escaped their boxes and are cascading down in bunches..
My favorites for today....love those velvety purple blooms!

The tulip trees are still blooming furiously

Horses enjoying their walk..

  1. Beautiful blooms.

I'd love to have a 'little gem' magnolia, but it is out of my price range at the moment. :-)

I love pansies, they always make me feel happy and daffs make me feel like spring time.

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady

  6. So beautiful Debbi, I always enjoy your "walks". Now is the tulip tree the same thing as a Magnolia tree? It's so pretty!

It's pretty cold here today and I think I seen on the weather that a southern winter storm was going up your coast? today or tomorrow

  13. Hi Debbi! Oh, my, the blooms are gorgeous down your way! Such beautiful snaps too. Thank you for popping in to see me and you really hit a note with your words. My daughter is always complaining that she has a hard time finding age appropriate clothes for my little 5 year old granddaughter. The clothes are too grown up, too sexy looking for little children. I'm like you, bring back the sweet little styles of old. I guess we can wish. Thanks for popping in to see me.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)
