Lemons in the Winter

I ADORE lemons! I love their color, their taste and their scent. I love how their crisp, sunny, and fresh scent lingers on your fingers after you cut them up.
I love them on seafood and a generous wedge or two in my sweet iced tea.
I also love to see them growing around town. I have not grown any yet, maybe that will be my next gardening project.
I spotted these beauties the other day and had to take a few photos.

I really really really wanted to "pick them", ha ha LOL.....but I restrained myself.
And I went to the grocery and bought us a nice bag of lemons!

  2. I am with you....I love everything about lemons! Especially a slice in my sweet, iced tea. It seems like my grandma might have grown lemons when I was little. I've never tried it.

  4. My daughter's Meyer lemon tree is full of fruit but it is indoors. They have no worries about anyone stealing a lemon, except for the dog who tends to swat his big tail around it.
