It's cold out here, but we are dressed warm and the Winter sun is shining brightly
This sweet young woodpecker is busy but stops for a second and posed for me
Brrrrrr......it's COLD out here! I have come from church so still have a dress on, but believe me, those boots are thick and I have many layers on, including leggings to keep my legs protected and warm.
Lots of things to see, even in winter. These are some kind of fungus on the trees, I think

Callie is so happy y'all came along with us today! She is the Queen Bee and thinks she owns this place! LOL!
Hope your New Year is coming along great so far. It's gotten alot colder since this Sunday walk.
Down in the 20s at night is very very cold for us!
And tonight we have SNOW! I haven't seen snow in YEARS!

I saw your text this morning from last night, and you got snow!! Yay! Actually, they SAID it was snowing here when I woke up...at least my phone said so, but I grabbed a blanket around me straight up from bed and went and looked out the doors and windows, and couldn't see any snow. After I really got up and got some clothes on, Lily and I stepped out on the back porch to see if there was any snow, and it just felt like a soft light rain coming down, but nothing looked like snow! It was too cold (and still dark) to stay out there and I didn't think to take any pictures. It's very windy too. Oh, I love your post and seeing Callie and the sweet girls having a nice walk on a cold winter day with you...so perfect!! Everyone is dressed perfectly for it! I loved seeing the fungus on the trees and the woodpecker too! Perfect walking day. Thank you for sharing it with us. Right now it is about 33 degrees, but feels like it is about 20 with the wind. They cancelled school today because of the weather...so everything is very quiet outside. Nice and peaceful! Have a blessed and wonderful "Snow" day!!
ReplyDeleteWell, hello there Ms. Callie. You are just the cutest. BRRRR, its cold here also. 8 degrees when I woke up yesterday morning. 26 now at 8:45 am. I am vegging on the couch, in front of the window with a warm or somewhat warm sun puddle coming through. Surprised one of the girls has not jumped up there to chill. Love that you get out and walk around. I need to start doing that but it takes all I can do to what I do and my balance is not the best. But, I could grab one of my walking sticks and go. haha...maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe've got the cold temps but no snow...thankfully! lol I love the little clothes for the dollies. Mine are in flannel pjs and robes! And do I HAVE to have another birthday NEXT month! I'm old enough already! hahaha! Hugs! Stay warm. Stay inside!!!
