Chapel Street Fountain

There's a lovely little spot in the city that I love to walk to....stroll around, and watch the waters in the fountain splash down.

Its a sweet little respite in the city........full of birds and colorful flowers and bees and spring sunshine............

Nice benches to sit on...........maybe have lunch..........

Something about being by a fountain.....even on these sultry hot spring days(its been in the high 80s here the past few days).....its just "feels" cooler when you are by water, doesn't it?

And all you really hear there is the soothing sound of the tinkling splashing water.
The people in this neighborhood can hear the rush of the water right from their front porches, and through open windows on summer nights.

It's a sweet little neighborhood....if you ever get the chance to walk through....go!

  3. It does feel cooler by the water. We wanted to get a bigger fountain for our courtyard to be able to hear the rushing water better. So many pretty flowers in your city! Hugs, Diane

  6. What a beautiful place. I love the pretty fountain and can almost hear the water dripping down. What a beautiful city with such nice spots to enjoy and thank you for sharing them with us. Oh, yes, I called my flip flops thongs too! I'm afraid to say 'thongs' today. It's just nasty wearing a strip where the good Lord split ya! :) Thanks for popping in to see me.
