A VERY PLEASANT place to eat--in Mt. Pleasant

If you're ever in the Mt. Pleasant area, be sure to stop by YE OLD FASHIONED ICE CREAM AND SANDWICH CAFE. for a quick and delicious meal. We did yesterday, and were so glad we did.

The service was great and the food delicious and we loved all the choices on the menu---all kinds of sandwiches and onion rings, salads, burgers and all kind of hot dogs and toppings.

Loved that a place still exists that serves old fashioned egg salad sandwiches! Fried egg sandwiches! Fried bologna sandwiches! Ruebens too! And of course BLT's, tuna salad and chicken salad and all those.

We were so full we passed on the dessert, but trust me, there is a huge dessert menu with all kinds of ice cream treats (36 ice cream flavors) and combinations!

Okay--aside from the yummy food and quick and polite service, heres what impressed us----the place is clean as a whistle, they greet you soon as you enter, and they have lots of outdoor tables too!

Thanks for the yummy meal, "Ye old Fashioned  Ice Cream and Sandwich Cafe"!!  I'll be coming back for my Reuben soon!

Afterwards you can take a summer evening stroll on King Street and window shop!

Business is lively at this Pawley's Island merchant!

The store looks festive and summery with the flags catching the ocean breezes and the bicycles and rocking chairs out front!

Stop by---they sell t-shirts, non ethanol gas for your boat, fishing and beach gear, beach towels, hardware, gifts, bait and much more.

They are located @ 9967 Ocean Highway, right across the street from the Walgreens!
