Scenes around Town

I spotted the sign above back around November, I believe.

I have always loved that little cottage above, with the pretty green trim and shutters! It is so charming and just looks so homey!
Love the glass on this old front door!
Its a new week, what's everybody up to?

Linking up with Judith at "Lavender Cottage" for MOSAIC MONDAY!

  1. That proposal on the old fashioned one-show Movie Marquee is awesome. I do hope she said yes - he must have been pretty sure of himself. Haha.

I like all your mosaic pics - the south is so so charming.

  3. It would have been fun to see a follow up sign that read 'she said yes!'
I like the window boxes with the blue trim on the building and the cottage style home with the green shutters is adorable. We have a little house around the corner from us with burgundy and hunter green trim that I like looking at, no shutters though.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Debbi.

  4. How charming those houses are! And I hope she said yes! Thanks for the kind words on the gallery walls. And yes - those 70's plumes WERE dusty! haha And since we're still being buried under our blizzard as I type this, I'm very envious of your Charleston Winter sidebar pic!!!

  5. Happy New Year to you, dear lady! I've been busy decorating for Valentines Day. It's just fun. The Window boxes are so sweet. I want some for my windows..but so far have only one..and it in bad need of replanting! What a sweet way to propose to a young lady...so romantic! I've finally gotten back to blogging. Camera and computer are finallyh on the same page. So much I want to do and so little money to do it with! :)
