Welcome Lowcountry Spring!

Seemingly overnight, seems most everything here on the coast has sprung into full bloom glory!

"Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.".....Rainer Maria Rilke

We enjoyed a drive through the tiny fishing village of Murrells Inlet this afternoon.

A quaint little bridge I spotted there---
I was mesmerized by this huge and colorful display and all the delicate blossoms piled up underneath it!

(above---isn't that just lovely?)

Heres a close up:
(below-----the daffodills are up! Yay! Love their cheery yellow charm!)
A serene view of Murrells Inlet

Check out these fluffy snow white blossoms!

"If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul have never been in bloom.".......Terri Guillemets

When I spotted the vibrant riot of colors in this gorgeous flower bed, I had a "Stop The Car" moment and had to get out to get some close ups of these beauties!!!!
Does anyone know what this plant/flower is??

Whatever is is, it sure makes a great back drop for the delicate little pansies!
