It would never make it in our climate unless one had an indoor solarium and wonderful light, neither of which I have! I'm just the slightest bit envious!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926263351972017306.post-53031333637797671212018-01-12T22:01:39.620-05:002018-01-12T22:01:39.620-05:00beautiful, healthy lemon trees, i have always want...beautiful, healthy lemon trees, i have always wanted to grow one!!

i love cooking with lemons!!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16823369215793154260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926263351972017306.post-62222288537413328532018-01-12T19:43:11.054-05:002018-01-12T19:43:11.054-05:00I asked my 16 yr old granddaughter what she does w...I asked my 16 yr old granddaughter what she does with her lemon tree that she started when she was a little girl. She brings her’s in as the winters can be very cold in PA. However, we are having mid 60’s temps right now that are expected to change to bone chilling by tomorrow night.Starting Over, Accepting Changes - Maybehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032033918798053005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926263351972017306.post-87391847693085935302018-01-12T18:14:27.024-05:002018-01-12T18:14:27.024-05:00Lemon trees LOVE your warm climate...they are sooo...Lemon trees LOVE your warm climate...they are sooo pretty.bj https://www.blogger.com/profile/09327534885194207074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926263351972017306.post-15359658458615381912018-01-12T17:42:02.807-05:002018-01-12T17:42:02.807-05:00Hi Diana, I didn't know that. With the cold that was here recently, we all cover our flowers and plants with covers, anything works really, tablecloths, old sheets, last week we saw a huge assortment of "covers" on all the windowboxes, ha ha LOL I didn't look if anyone covered their lemon trees, that is a good question! I will ask if I catch those people out. LOL When life gives you lemons make lemonade...or in my case---lemon pie! lol I wonder if most people know that citrus fruit does NOT continue to ripen once it is picked? That is why timing is so critical in the FL orange groves. xo DianaNanaDianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14298962791700019785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3926263351972017306.post-85742094832803980282018-01-12T07:03:31.809-05:002018-01-12T07:03:31.809-05:00I am surprised that it is the cold that ripens lem...I am surprised that it is the cold that ripens lemons.
